How does Inkbox work?
Unlike most temp tattoos, Inkbox works by sinking into your skin and doesn’t just stick on top. Our tattoos are painless and super easy to apply - there are only a few steps involved! What sizes do you offer for custom tattoos?
We offer 6 canvas sizes for custom tattoos: 2x2”, 3x3”, 4x4”, 5x2”, 6x3” and 7x2”. When designing, keep in mind that the usable design space of the canvas is roughly 0.5” smaller than the canvas itself. Learn more about usable canvas space here.
How much do custom tattoos cost?
Custom tattoo prices vary by size: 2x2" ($18 USD), 3x3" ($20 USD), 4x4" ($23 USD), 5x2” ($23 USD), 6x3” ($25 USD), 7x2” ($25 USD)
Do I need to flip my design to make sure it doesn’t apply backward?
Nope! Just submit your design how you want it to appear on your skin - we’ll take care of the rest.
Why isn’t my image uploading?
The first step is to make sure you’re using a .jpg or .png file that’s no larger than 10MB.
Next, make sure that the coloring on the image is dark enough. Use high resolution black and white images with a white or neutral background when possible. For more best practices on uploading images, click here.

Can I create a tattoo with other colors?
We currently only have one color for Inkbox products at this time. Our ink will develop into a dark blue or black depending on your skin’s unique chemistry!
Can I upload a picture of someone’s else’s tattoo to create a custom design?
We don’t suggest uploading an image of a tattoo on someone’s body because the details likely won’t translate on our platform. Original images are always best!

Can I cancel or return my order?
We can cancel your order as long as it hasn’t been processed or shipped out.
If you want to return your order, our team will need your order number and reason for return.
