Hello beautiful people! Welcome to the Lion's Den. The Sun has finally made its way back to Leo, which will have a tremendous impact on all of us. As you may know, the Sun represents our consciousness and the core of our personality. While the planet is in Leo, it invites us to express our most authentic selves. This month is a time meant for genuine play, fun, and self-exploration.
This season also has surprises in store and lessons to teach us. We kick things off with a Full Moon in Aquarius on July 23, which is here to illuminate the contrast between our need to fit in and our desire to separate ourselves from others and explore our individuality. This Leo-Aquarius polarity will help us find ways to channel our creative energy into relevant humanitarian or social causes. It's also linked to the Aquarius New Moon from February and will bring any concerns that emerged then to completion.
Jupiter is in a retrograde period right now. It will transit into Aquarius on July 28, which calls us back to the Great Jupiter-Saturn Conjunction from December 2020. Any outstanding issues from that time will reappear, and we won't be able to move forward until we take care of that unfinished business. But once that's behind us, Jupiter in Aquarius will help usher in a world of new ideas.
Later in the season, on August 8, we'll experience the New Moon in Leo. Since Leo's evolutionary purpose is self-actualization, this moon phase will encourage us to strengthen our self-esteem. It will also draw attention to anything that's standing in the way of us expressing ourselves spontaneously. It's helpful to think of this as an opportunity to become self-aware and release ourselves from the need for external validation.
We'll be learning many a lesson over the next few weeks, but Leo is still the sign of fun! Leos march to the beat of their own drums (they hate rules), and this season they'll be inspiring all of us to do the same. So be safe as you live it up this month!
