Aquarius (Jan 20 - Feb 18)
Aquarius season starts on a high note—with the U.S. inaugurating its next president. Finally! It’s the perfect start to an astrological season that will bring about all sorts of change. In fact, it’s the beginning of an entire year that will be filled to the brim with change.
In Numerology, 2021 adds up to five—the number that represents change. So it’s only fitting that Jupiter and Saturn go conjunct in your sign for the first time in over 200 years (a massive planetary change).
And all this change will do you good, Aquarius.
You’re always in pursuit of more freedoms, and the Sun in your sign is finally going to give them to you. They might not be the conventional freedoms you’re used to (especially as the pandemic rages on and we’re locked inside), but that’s okay. You’re not really one for convention anyway. You move to the beat of your own drum, Aquarius. Listen to that beat and move whatever way you want. It’s time for you to call the shots. This year, you’re the star of the show.
While this year will be full of change, you’re not always the biggest fan disruptions to your routine. As a fixed sign, I know you enjoy structure and control. But you never know what great things are waiting just around the corner for you, so I ask that you be open, Aquarius. Don’t fight the change. Go with it. With the planet of luck on your side, this is going to be a year to remember.
Pisces (Feb 19 - March 20)
The first Mercury Retrograde of the year happens during Aquarius season and might challenge some long standing beliefs you’ve held, Pisces. Be sure to keep an open mind this season and use difficult situations to your advantage. If you’re in an argument with someone, try to not be defensive. Instead, use it as an opportunity to learn more about them. Don’t be afraid to embrace your individuality, especially in matters of the heart. This might be hard for you, but it’ll be worth it in the long run.
Aries (March 21 - April 19)
You’re in luck, Aries. Aquarius season will bring back some of the social energy you’ve been craving over the past few weeks. Use this time to call your closest friends or have a group games night over Zoom. Get out there and reconnect with the world (make sure you’re safely masked up and socially distanced, though). We’re also in a Mercury Retrograde this season, so be extra careful to gather all the facts before you go jumping to conclusions.
Taurus (April 20 - May 20)
With your ruling planet—Venus—in Aquarius this season, now is a good time to shake things up. Get out of your comfort zone and try something new and fun. If anyone’s going to thrive in a lockdown, it’s you, Taurus. The change of pace will be good for you. You might also have some financial gains coming your way this season. Manifest that money, honey!
Gemini (May 21 - June 20)
Aquarian energy is in the air, and with it you can expect a burst of new, creative ideas. Don’t act on those ideas just yet though, Gemini. You’re prone to jumping to conclusions; focusing on where you’d rather be instead of where you are. Try to focus on what’s in front you instead. This month is a good time to practice being present.
Cancer (June 21 - July 22)
You’ll be feeling a lot more carefree as we leave last season’s practical Capricorn energy behind and enter Aquarius. The New Moon in February is calling on you to focus on your future. It’s asking you to think about where you want to go in this world—personally and professionally. This is the perfect time to make new connections. New social groups might help you forge a new path.
Leo (July 23 - Aug 22)
Aquarius season will have you buzzing with eccentric and impulsive energy, Leo. Lean into it, but be sure to keep good intentions at the forefront of everything you do. Use this time to interact with like-minded people—this might lead to important conversations and connections that will help you positively impact the world.
Virgo (Aug 23 - Sept 22)
The first Mercury Retrograde of 2021 approaching. Don’t rely too much on technology during this period, Virgo. You have a knack for finding alternative ways of doing things, so lean into your innovative, problem-solving side. If a financial opportunity comes knocking, listen to your intuition. If it feels good, go for it. This time when your risks will be rewarded.
Libra (Sept 23 - Oct 22)
The social bug will bite you during this fellow Air sign season, Libra. The way you make new connections could be unconventional, but trust the process. You never know who you’ll meet. Great things might come from these connections. The February New Moon will feed the trailblazer in you. Use this time to be courageous and explore.
Scorpio (Oct 23 - Nov 21)
Be open to the unexpected during the upcoming full moon in Leo on January 28, Scorpio. I know this will be a hard ask (because you really love control), but try to stay open to new ways of doing things. Consider that your way might not always be the best way.
Sagittarius (Nov 22 - Dec 21)
Flames of inspiration could be ignited in you this season, Sagittarius. While you might have the energy to start a new project, remember that you’re not always the best at seeing things to completion. But you’re a natural born leader, so you can figure it out. Bring people together to help you get things done.
Capricorn (Dec 22 - Jan 19)
If you come across a promising opportunity this season, take it, Capricorn. You’re typically more interested in long-term investments, but with your ruling planet—Saturn—conjoining Venus in Aquarius, you’re in the right position to be on top of your game. The New Moon in February will also ask you to shed your practical side and be more zany and out of the box.
