Lucky for us this week has blessed us with a new exciting feature for the Instagram world, the question sticker for stories! The feature allows users to engage with their followers in a way that opens the door for followers to submit questions in an organized, easy to use fashion. Having the option to ask Instagram-ers questions gives users the chance to really connect on a personal level with the people they’re following! With large scale tattoo artists joining in and utilizing this feature, it’s another source for information-hungry users to learn more about the tattoo industry, how artists feel about it and just general tattoo FAQ! We’ve loved learning a lil more about our fave tattoo artists on the ‘gram and gathered a few screenshots of their answers to share with you all, enjoy.

Hailing from Woodstock, Ontario this Toronto-based tattoo artist started out with stick and poke, and then rose to fame after he shared his work on Instagram. Having since retired from hand poke tattooing, he now does a lot of blackwork designs as well as red linework!

Emily Weber is an Australian tattoo artist based in Sydney, who is known to showcase her love for animals and nature through her beautiful, sketch-like tattoos.

Another tattoo artist who focuses on tattoos within the beauty and nature scene, Diana Serverinenko, who is a Ukranian tattoo artist based in Kiev. Her tattoos are known to be comprised of various styles such as  linework, blackwork  and sketch style technique.

An American tattoo artist based in Pennsylvania, Gia Rose has 12 years under her belt tattooing, and specializes in neo-traditional designs in full colour as well as black and grey!

Jess Chen is another tattoo artist based in our beautiful city, Toronto. She is best known for her beautiful minimalist designs that are tattooed in various colours.

Known as Lindsay April on social media, this Toronto-based artists tattoos delicate but detailed portraits of pets and animals as well as floral compositions that are typically small in size.

Yet another Toronto-based artists, (can you tell we like to support our hometown peeps??) Livia Tsang specializes in colour, as well as black and grey realism tattoos. Fun fact she also got to add a big time celebrity to her client list, another fellow Canadian, Shawn Mendes!

Notcoolneverwas our last Toronto-based artist (for now) actually works at the same tattoo studio as Jess Chen! Similar to Jess Chen he also specializes in more minimalistic linework, however his is usually done in black with a lil red added into the mix on some occasions.

Based in London, England, Woozy Machine is a tattoo artists that specializes in a newer, less-traditional style of tattooing called "Ignorant Style." Although this style does have the word ignorant in its name, it is form of art far from lack of education, but otherwise encourages self-expression and stems from people rebelling against standardization and conventional rules. This tattooing style is usually done with simple linework designs, with minimal to no colour involved!
