What started out as a niche form of entertainment originating from Japan, anime has grown in popularity throughout the years, especially as it made its way into the North American market. The word anime actually translates to “animated cartoon” in Japanese and not to be confused with the rapper, Aminé. To add on, the anime world is very diverse in terms of its genre offerings, from horror and romance to comedy and drama - there are lots to choose from!
